1822 wurde das wohl kurz zuvor erbaute Back- und Waschhaus an die Dorfgemeinde verkauft. Zudem wurde es für den Betrieb mit zwei Backöfen und einem Waschkessel vergrößert. Gleichzeitig erfolgte eine Zuteilung der Bürgerschaft im Dorf auf das bisherige Backhaus an der Kiesstraße und das neue Backhaus an der Kirchbergstraße. Bis 1951 wurde das Backhaus von einer „Backfrau“ genutzt. Im Jahr 2006 wurde das Backhaus saniert. Seitdem betreibt ein Verein die historische Einrichtung.

At the same time, there was an allocation of citizens between the existing bakehouse in Kiesstraße and the new bakehouse in Kirchbergstraße. Until 1951 it was run by a professional female baker. In 2006 the bakehouse was renovated and since then a club operates this historical facility.
