Ehem. Gasthaus „Grüner Baum“

Das repräsentative Wohnhaus mit zeittypischem barockem Erscheinungsbild und Mansarddach wurde in zentraler Lage im oberen „Städtle“ am Platz vor der Martinskirche um 1774 neu erbaut und von 1786 bis 1858 als Gasthaus genutzt. Das Kulturdenkmal besitzt ein hohes Sockelgeschoss mit Vortreppe, die Fensterumrahmungen im Erdgeschoss sind reich profiliert. Das Anwesen dokumentiert nicht nur die anspruchsvolle Wohnbebauung der Zeit um 1800 in der östlichen Altstadt, sondern zeichnet sich auch durch die Lage an der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer (13. Jh.) aus, die am südlichen Grundstücksrand verläuft.

La maison d’habitation représentative avec une apparence typique de l’époque baroque et un toit mansardé fut reconstruite vers 1774 à un emplacement central dans la partie supérieure de la vieille ville historique de Lauffen, la « Städtle » sur la place en face de l’église « Martinskirche ». Elle servit de 1786 à 1858 d’auberge. Cette maison, faisant partie du patrimoine culturel, possède un socle haut avec perron. Les encadrements des fenêtres au rez-de-chaussée sont richement profilés. Elle illustre non seulement la construction résidentielle ambitieuse autour de 1800 dans la partie est de la vieille ville, mais elle se distingue aussi par son emplacement sur les remparts médiévaux (13e s.) de la ville, qui longent le bord sud du terrain de la propriété.

The prestigious house with baroque appearance, typical of the time, and mansard roof was newly built in a central location in the upper “Städtle” at the square in front of St. Martin’s Church in 1774 and was used as a tavern from 1786 to 1858. The cultural monument has a high semi-basement with steps and the window frames in the ground floor are abundantly profiled. The property, not only documents the ambitious house construction of the time around 1800 in the eastern part of the old town, but also distinguishes itself through the location at the medieval town wall (13th century), which runs along the southern boundary of the property.
